Cornerstone Guitars started in 2003 as a hobby out of my garage and it grew to a business gradually over the years. 
In 2019 following a back injury I found a new passion in building ukuleles but the love for guitars always lingered.In 2025 I decided to build a new model I had imagined years before. A small body guitar with a round and more sculpted shape. Big sound doesn’t necessarily come from big guitars, and a very balanced tone with great projection can be achieved with optimized bracing, bridge placement and other factors.  From the body design, bridge, neck and headstock, scale length to bracing pattern, everything was reimagined. Merging traditional guitar building techniques with modern design I set out to build a completely new Cornerstone Guitar – meet Elysium Fingerstyle Series.
